# External Media & Press Inquiries

> **Applies To:** All Nomey® Team Members\
> **Last Updated:** July 4, 2025

***

## 🧭 Purpose

To ensure consistent and accurate communication when engaging with members of
the press, media outlets, or public-facing platforms such as podcasts or
interviews.

***

## 📌 Policy Summary

If you are contacted by the press, invited onto a podcast, or asked to speak
publicly about Nomey®, its product roadmap, team, finances, strategy, or
anything else sensitive:

> **Do not engage. Do not comment. Do not speculate.**

All media communications must go through designated channels.

***

## ✅ What You Should Do

* **Forward the inquiry** immediately to
  [press@nomey.com](mailto:press@nomey.com) or notify the CEO or Head of Comms
  directly.
* **Be polite and professional** in your response if you're replying before
  forwarding. For example:

```
Thanks for reaching out. I’m not the right person for this, but I’ll pass this along to the team who can follow up appropriately.
```

* **If in doubt, ask first.** It’s always better to check before responding in
  any capacity.

***

## ❌ What You Should *Not* Do

* Do not speak to the press, bloggers, influencers, or content creators on
  behalf of Nomey® unless explicitly cleared.
* Do not join a podcast, X/Twitter Space, panel, or interview where you may be
  asked to speak about Nomey® without prior approval.
* Do not share internal processes, unreleased features, financials, or team
  details outside the company — ever.

***

## 🚨 Violations

Discussing company operations, strategy, or confidential material with external
parties — especially media or public forums — **without approval** may result in
disciplinary action, **including termination**.

***

## 🙌 Final Word

We love that you're proud to be here — but consistency and trust in our public
voice are critical. Let’s keep that voice aligned, strong, and smart.
